Hi! I am an Art and Design Enthusiast with a keen interest in Visual Cultures and Communication.
My continued education in Graphic and Media Design (London College of Communication, UAL) has aided me in developing a style I can call my own, and now I find myself successfully being able to place my preferences, opinions and design decisions against contemporary practice and thought
My work often visualises text - exploring the permutations between word and image. I am constantly attempting to deconstruct the formed binaries between the visual and the verbal. I love pursuing projects that allow me to consider elements of illustration, editorial layouts, typography, photography and publishing design.
I believe in placing my ideations within a socio political framework; contextualising both the work and its meaning - to strive to design with an amalgamation of theory and praxis, which I believe, proves beneficial to my practical outcomes and strengthens my merits as a designer.
My time studying in London has taught me to value alternative solutions and approaches to problem solving. I always look forward to interdisciplinary learning and am interested in collaborations that would harness this multicultural space we inhabit, granting us access to creativity and resources from across the world.
As a creative, I believe my strengths are a respectable work ethic, constructive critiquing and the capability of self initiated research and development.
